Exhibition Room for Hire: The Blue Mountains Creative Arts Centre has an exhibition room available for hire. This space provides an excellent opportunity for artists, potters and sculptors to display their work in a one room venue which is maintained for this purpose as part of the BMCAC Complex. UNIQUE GIFTS: The Centre Gallery has beautiful hand-made crafts created by members for sale, including mosaics, exquisite pottery, silk scarves, jewellery, unique cards, original artworks, and much more, so do come in. Trading hours Saturdays and Sundays 10.00am to 4.00pm

Art and Spirituality - a series of workshops by Therese Prior

Held at the centre: Sunday 25th October and Sunday 22nd November 11:00 till 4:00pm $60 for each workshop. Attend either or both.

“I wish to encourage participants to be in touch with Divine Mystery; to communicate with the Divine Being we call God at a level that is beyond words through art making. We will be using a variety of media including inks, acrylic paints, oil pastels, shaving crème etc., on paper to produce a series of small art works and 2 large group art works. This is about fun, relaxation, shared spiritual experiences and making a lovely mess.”
Therese has a background in Art teaching and Religious Education teaching. She has her own art practice, specialising in painting and multimedia drawing. Therese has been involved in several group art exhibitions. Her recent art making reflects the spiritual aspects of Presence within Creation.
